IMPLEMENTASI KEPERAWATAN TERAPI RELAKSASI SENAM KAKI PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DENGAN MASALAH GANGGUAN POLA TIDUR DI RUANG BEDAH RSUD LAHAT TAHUN 2025

Latar Belakang : Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 (T2DM) merupakan salah satu
kelainan metabolik yang paling umum terjadi disebabkan oleh kombinasi dua
faktor utama yaitu gangguan sekresi insulin oleh sel β pankreas dan
ketidakmampuan jaringan yang sensitif terhadap insulin untuk merespons insulin
secara tepat.
Metode : Desain metode ini adalah deskriptif dalam bentuk studi kasus, subjek
yang teliti berjumlah 2 orang dengan kasus dan masalah keperawatan yang sama,
yaitu pasien diabetes melitus tipe II dengan masalah gangguan pola tidur di Ruang
Bedah RSUD Lahat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 25-27 Februari 2025.
Hasil : Setelah dilakukan implementasi keperawatan terapi relaksasi senam kaki
pada pasien Diabetes melitus tipe II dengan masalah gangguan pola tidur dengan
2 pasien teratasi dan mampu mengatasi gangguan pola tidur pada pasien.
Kesimpulan : Diharapkan dapat menerapkan Implementasi Keperawatan Terapi
Relaksasi Senam Kaki pada pasien Diabetes melitus tipe II dengan masalah
Gangguan pola tidur dapat dikembangkan dan menjadi pembelajaran untuk
peneliti selanjutnya.

Background : Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is one of the most common
metabolic disorders caused by a combination of two main factors, namely

impaired insulin secretion by pancreatic β cells and the inability of insulin-
sensitive tissue to respond appropriately to insulin.

Method : The design of this method is descriptive in the form of a case study, the
subjects studied were 2 people with the same case and nursing problems, namely
type II diabetes mellitus patients with sleep pattern disorders in the Surgery Room
of Lahat Hospital. This study was conducted on February 25-27, 2025.
Results : After the implementation of foot exercise relaxation therapy nursing in
type II Diabetes mellitus patients with sleep pattern disorders with 2 patients
resolved and were able to overcome sleep pattern disorders in patients.
Conclusion : It is expected to be able to apply the Implementation of Foot
Exercise Relaxation Therapy Nursing in type II Diabetes mellitus patients with
sleep pattern disorders can be developed and become a learning experience for
further researchers.
