Abstract

Latar Belakang: Halusinasi pendengaran merupakan salah satu gejala yang sering
muncul pada pasien dengan gangguan jiwa, khususnya skizofrenia. Hal ini
berdampak serius terhadap perilaku dan interaksi sosial pasien. Salah satu
pendekatan non-farmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi halusinasi
adalah terapi aktivitas seperti menggambar. Tujuan Penelitian: ini bertujuan untuk
menerapkan terapi menggambar sebagai intervensi keperawatan dalam mengontrol
halusinasi pendengaran pada pasien gangguan jiwa di Puskesmas Usila Lahat tahun
2025. Metode Penelitian: menggunakan metode studi kasus deskriptif terhadap
dua pasien dengan diagnosis gangguan persepsi sensori: halusinasi pendengaran.
Intervensi terapi menggambar dilakukan melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan,
dan evaluasi, disertai observasi terhadap perubahan perilaku dan persepsi pasien.
Hasil Penelitian: Hasil studi menunjukkan adanya penurunan frekuensi halusinasi
dan peningkatan kemampuan pasien dalam mengontrol respon terhadap stimulus
internal. Pasien menjadi lebih ekspresif, kooperatif, dan mampu mengalihkan
perhatiannya dari halusinasi melalui aktivitas menggambar. Kesimpulan: Terapi
menggambar efektif sebagai salah satu pendekatan dalam keperawatan jiwa untuk
membantu mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran. Terapi ini dapat dijadikan strategi
pelengkap dalam penatalaksanaan pasien skizofrenia dengan gejala halusinasi, serta
meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien secara psikologis dan sosial.

Background: Auditory hallucinations are common symptoms experienced by
patients with mental disorders, particularly schizophrenia. These symptoms

significantly impact patients’ behavior and social interaction. One non-
pharmacological intervention that can be used to reduce hallucinations is activity

therapy, such as drawing. Objective: This study aims to apply drawing therapy as
a nursing intervention to control auditory hallucinations in patients with mental
disorders at the Usila Lahat Public Health Center in 2025. Method: This research
used a descriptive case study method involving two patients diagnosed with sensory
perception disturbances: auditory hallucinations. The drawing therapy intervention
was implemented through preparation, execution, and evaluation stages, with
observation of changes in patients’ behavior and perception. Results: The results
showed a decrease in hallucination frequency and an improvement in the patients’
ability to manage responses to internal stimuli. Patients became more expressive,
cooperative, and capable of diverting their attention away from hallucinations
through drawing activities. Conclusion: Drawing therapy is effective as a
complementary mental health nursing approach for managing auditory
hallucinations. It can be used as a supportive strategy in the treatment of
schizophrenia patients and contributes positively to their psychological and social
well-being.
