PENERAPAN DUKUNGAN AMBULASI KOMBINASI AKUPUNTUR PADA PASIEN PASCA STROKE DENGAN GANGGUAN MOBILITAS FISIK

Latar Belakang: Stroke merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama dalam
keperawatan medikal bedah yang sering menyebabkan disabilitas jangka panjang,
terutama gangguan mobilitas fisik. Pemulihan pasien pasca stroke membutuhkan
pendekatan rehabilitatif berkelanjutan, khususnya di lingkungan perawatan rumah.
Kebaruan: Integrasi intervensi dukungan ambulasi dengan terapi akupuntur
merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang memadukan praktik medis dan komplementer
dalam asuhan keperawatan berbasis homecare.
Tujuan: Menggambarkan efektivitas penerapan kombinasi dukungan ambulasi dan
terapi akupuntur dalam meningkatkan mobilitas fisik pasien pasca stroke dalam
konteks keperawatan medikal bedah homecare.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses
keperawatan terhadap dua pasien pasca stroke yang mengalami hemiparesis.
Intervensi diberikan selama tiga minggu melalui enam kali kunjungan homecare.
Hasil : Intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan kekuatan otot, rentang gerak sendi,
dan kemampuan berjalan. Skor Functional Ambulation Category membaik, serta
keterlibatan keluarga meningkat.
Kesimpulan: Kombinasi dukungan ambulasi dan akupuntur efektif meningkatkan
mobilitas pasien pasca stroke.
Saran: Perawat homecare disarankan mulai mengintegrasikan terapi komplementer
seperti akupuntur dan melibatkan keluarga secara aktif dalam rehabilitasi pasien
pasca stroke.

Background: Stroke is one of the major health problems in medical-surgical
nursing that often results in long-term disability, particularly impaired physical
mobility. Post-stroke recovery requires a continuous rehabilitative approach,
especially in homecare settings.
Novelty: The integration of ambulation support with acupuncture therapy is an
innovative approach that combines medical and complementary practices within
home-based nursing care.
Objective: To describe the effectiveness of implementing combined ambulation
support and acupuncture therapy in improving physical mobility in post-stroke
patients within the context of medical-surgical homecare nursing.
Method: This study employed a case study design using the nursing process
approach for two post-stroke patients with hemiparesis. Interventions were
provided over three weeks through six homecare visits.
Results: The intervention demonstrated improvements in muscle strength, joint
range of motion, and walking ability. Functional Ambulation Category scores
increased, and family involvement in patient care also improved.
Conclusion: The combination of ambulation support and acupuncture is effective
in enhancing physical mobility in post-stroke patients.
Recommendation: Homecare nurses are encouraged to integrate complementary
therapies such as acupuncture and actively involve families in the rehabilitation of
post-stroke patients.
