Abstract
Latar Belakang: Perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak usia toddler merupakan
indikator penting dalam tumbuh kembang yang optimal. Keterlambatan
perkembangan sering tidak terdeteksi sejak dini karena kurangnya pengetahuan
orang tua mengenai alat skrining seperti Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan
(KPSP). Kurangnya deteksi dan stimulasi dapat menyebabkan risiko gangguan
perkembangan, termasuk keterlambatan kemampuan dasar seperti berjalan dan
berdiri.. Tujuan: Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi orang tua tentang
penerapan KPSP dalam mengkaji tingkat perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia
toddler di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung Agung tahun 2025. Metode:
Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan proses
keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, perencanaan, implementasi, dan
evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah dua anak toddler yang berisiko mengalami
gangguan perkembangan. Intervensi dilakukan melalui edukasi kepada ibu dan
stimulasi perkembangan motorik kasar menggunakan instrumen KPSP selama dua
minggu. Hasil: Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kedua anak mengalami
peningkatan dari kategori “meragukan” menjadi “sesuai” dalam perkembangan
motorik kasar setelah dilakukan intervensi. Selain itu, pemahaman orang tua
tentang perkembangan anak dan cara menstimulasi motorik kasar juga meningkat
secara signifikan..Kesimpulan: Penerapan KPSP secara edukatif terbukti efektif
dalam meningkatkan deteksi dini dan stimulasi perkembangan motorik kasar anak
usia toddler. Intervensi ini layak untuk diterapkan secara berkelanjutan oleh tenaga
kesehatan di tingkat keluarga.
Background: Gross motor development in toddlers is a critical indicator of optimal
child growth. Delayed development often goes undetected due to a lack of parental
knowledge regarding early screening tools such as the Developmental Pre-
Screening Questionnaire (KPSP). Without early detection and proper stimulation,
children are at risk of developmental delays, particularly in fundamental skills such
as walking and standing. Objective: This case study aims to educate parents on the
application of KPSP to assess the level of gross motor development in toddlers
within the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung Agung in 2025. Method:
This descriptive case study employed a nursing care process approach, including
assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects
were two toddlers at risk of developmental delays. Interventions involved parental
education and gross motor stimulation using the KPSP instrument over a two-week
period. Results: Evaluation showed both children improved from the "doubtful"
category to the "appropriate" category in gross motor development after the
intervention. Moreover, parents' understanding of child development and their
ability to stimulate motor skills increased significantly. Conclusion: Educational
implementation of KPSP proved effective in enhancing early detection and
stimulation of gross motor development in toddlers. This intervention is
recommended for continued application by healthcare professionals at the family
level.
