Abstract
Latar Belakang: Sampah merupakan masalah nasional, sehingga agar dapat memberikan manfaat yang bernilai ekonomis, aman bagi lingkungan, dan menyehatkan bagi masyarakat, pengelolaan sampah harus dilakukan secara terpadu dari hulu hingga hilir. Pola pengelolaan sampah dapat dilaksanakan dari perspektif pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan. Tujuan Penelitian: Diketahuinya pengaruh edukasi terhadap perilaku siswa dalam penerapan sistem 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 201 Kota Palembang Tahun 2025. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan Pre-Experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai Juni tahun 2025. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas V yang berjumlah 31 siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 201 Kota Palembang Tahun 2025. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis Wilcoxon. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil uji hipotesis Wilcoxon nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) pada variabel pengetahuan sebesar 0,001, sikap sebesar 0,000, dan tindakan sebesar 0,023. Seluruh nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05 (sig<0,05) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi sistem 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) terhadap variabel pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan siswa. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan perilaku (pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan) siswa terhadap penerapan sistem 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi sistem 3R di
Sekolah Dasar Negeri 201 Kota Palembang Tahun 2025, atau dapat dikatakan hipotesis di terima. Saran: Sebaiknya sekolah melakukan edukasi 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) secara berkala untuk menanamkan prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse,Recycle) dan siswa aktif dalam kegiatan kebersihan dan mampu menerapkan prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) di sekolah dan rumah.
Background: Waste is a national problem, so in order to provide benefits that are economically valuable, safe for the environment, and healthy for the community, waste management must be carried out in an integrated manner from upstream to downstream. Waste management patterns can be implemented from the perspective of knowledge, attitudes, and actions Purpose: To determine the effect of education on student behavior in implementing the 3R system (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) at State Elementary School 201 Palembang City in 2025. Research Methods: This research is a Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. This research was conducted from February to June 2025. The sample in this study were fifth grade students totaling 31 students at State Elementary School 201 Palembang City in 2025. The sampling technique was total sampling. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon hypothesis test. Research Results: Wilcoxon hypothesis test results Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) on the knowledge variable is 0.001, attitude is 0.000, and action is 0.023. All of these significance values are smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (sig<0.05), indicating that there are significant differences before and after being given 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) system education on the variables of knowledge, attitudes, and actions of students. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are differences in student behavior (knowledge, attitudes and actions) towards the application of the 3R system (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) before and after being given 3R system education at State Elementary School 201 Palembang City in 2025, or it can be said that the hypothesis is accepted. Suggestion: Schools should conduct 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) education
regularly to instill the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) principles and students are active in cleaning activities and able to apply the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
principles at school and home.
