Abstract

Latar Belakang : Berdasarkan data WHO dan UNICEF, terdapat persentase
signifikan anak prasekolah yang mengalami gangguan perkembangan, termasuk
pada aspek motorik halus. Salah satu metode yang terbukti efektif dalam
menstimulasi motorik halus adalah kegiatan finger painting. Melalui kegiatan ini,
anak dilatih menggerakkan otot-otot kecil pada tangan dan jari secara
terkoordinasi, serta merangsang kreativitas dan koordinasi mata-tangan. Penelitian
ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan finger painting dalam menstimulasi
perkembangan motorik halus pada anak prasekolah dengan risiko gangguan
perkembangan di Desa Talang Jawa, wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung
Agung. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan
motorik halus anak prasekolah sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penerapan kegiatan
finger painting di Desa Talang Jawa, wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung
Agung. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan
pendekatan asuhan keperawatan, yang dilakukan terhadap dua anak prasekolah
dengan risiko gangguan perkembangan motorik halus. Intervensi yang diberikan
berupa kegiatan finger painting selama enam kali pertemuan dalam tiga minggu.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi menggunakan Standar Luaran
Keperawatan Indonesia dan format Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST)
khususnya sektor motorik halus. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
setelah diberikan intervensi finger painting selama enam kali pertemuan, terjadi
peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus pada kedua anak prasekolah. Keduanya
menunjukkan kemajuan dalam menggambar pola, membedakan bentuk, serta
koordinasi tangan dan mata berdasarkan evaluasi menggunakan Standar Luaran
Keperawatan Indonesia dan format DDST. Kesimpulan : Penerapan finger
painting efektif dalam menstimulasi perkembangan motorik halus pada anak
prasekolah dengan risiko gangguan perkembangan, sehingga dapat digunakan
sebagai salah satu metode stimulasi yang menyenangkan dan bermanfaat.

Background : According to data from WHO and UNICEF, there is a significant
percentage of preschool children experiencing developmental delays, including in
the area of fine motor skills. One method proven effective in stimulating fine motor
skills is finger painting. Through this activity, children are trained to move the
small muscles in their hands and fingers in a coordinated manner while also
stimulating creativity and hand-eye coordination. This study was conducted to
evaluate the application of finger painting in stimulating fine motor development
among preschool children at risk of developmental delays in Talang Jawa Village,
working area of UPTD Tanjung Agung Public Health Center. Objective : This
study aims to determine the fine motor development of preschool children before
and after the implementation of finger painting activities in Talang Jawa Village,
within the working area of UPTD Tanjung Agung Public Health Center. Method :
This study used a case study method with a nursing care approach, conducted on
two preschool children at risk of fine motor development disorders. The
intervention provided was finger painting activities carried out over six sessions
within three weeks. Data collection was conducted through observation using the
Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standards and the Denver Developmental Screening
Test (DDST) format, particularly focusing on the fine motor sector. Results : The
results of the study showed that after six sessions of finger painting intervention,
there was an improvement in fine motor skills in both preschool children. Both

demonstrated progress in drawing patterns, distinguishing shapes, as well as hand-
eye coordination, based on evaluations using the Indonesian Nursing Outcome

Standards and the DDST format. Conclusion : The application of finger painting
is effective in stimulating fine motor development in preschool children at risk of
developmental delay and can be utilized as a fun and beneficial stimulation
method.
