Abstract
Latar Belakang: Gerakan janin merupakan indikator penting kesejahteraan janin
yang perlu diketahui dan dipantau oleh ibu hamil. Namun, masih banyak ibu
hamil yang mengalami defisit pengetahuan mengenai pemantauan gerak janin,
khususnya di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Kemalaraja.Tujuan:
Mendeskripsikan proses edukasi pada ibu hamil dengan defisit pengetahuan
tentang pemantauan gerak janin.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi
kasus dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan pada dua klien ibu hamil yang
mengalami defisit pengetahuan. Intervensi edukasi dilakukan selama tiga hari
berturut-turut melalui pemberian booklet dan konseling.Hasil: Hasil implementasi
menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman klien tentang pentingnya
pemantauan gerak janin, antusiasme dalam menerima edukasi, serta kemauan
untuk rutin memeriksakan kehamilan dan melakukan pemantauan gerak janin
secara mandiri.Kesimpulan: Edukasi yang diberikan secara langsung dan
berkesinambungan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil,
serta diharapkan mampu meminimalisir risiko komplikasi kehamilan.
Background: Fetal movement is a vital indicator of fetal well-being that should
be understood and monitored by pregnant women. However, many pregnant
women, especially in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Kemalaraja, lack
adequate knowledge about fetal movement monitoring.Objective: To describe the
educational process provided to pregnant women with a knowledge deficit
regarding fetal movement monitoring.Method: This research used a case study
design with a nursing care approach involving two pregnant clients who met the
inclusion criteria. The intervention consisted of three consecutive days of health
education using booklets and direct counseling.Results: The implementation of
the intervention showed an improvement in clients' understanding of the
importance of fetal movement monitoring, increased enthusiasm for learning,
willingness to perform routine antenatal checkups, and the ability to monitor fetal
movements independently.Conclusion: Health education provided in a structured
and continuous manner was proven effective in increasing pregnant women's
knowledge and is expected to reduce the risk of pregnancy complications.
