Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kanker serviks merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian
kanker pada wanita, khususnya di negara berkembang. Deteksi dini sangat penting
dalam upaya pencegahan. Metode Inspeksi Visual dengan Asam Asetat (IVA) dan
pemeriksaan DNA Human Papillomavirus (HPV) dengan Real-Time Quantitative
PCR (RT-qPCR) merupakan dua metode yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi risiko
kanker serviks. Namun pemeriksaan berbasis PCR belum diterapkan secara luas
sebagai penegak diagnosis. Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis hasil IVA dan RT-qPCR DNA HPV tipe 16, 18, dan 12 tipe risiko
tinggi lainnya sebagai indikator awal kanker serviks Metode Penelitian: Penelitian
bersifat observasional analitik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental
sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 64 pasien. Pemeriksaan metode IVA dan
RT-qPCR DNA HPV. Hasil Penelitian: Menyimpulkan besaran terdeteksi DNA
HPV positif 4,7%. Berdasarkan kategori DNA HPV Tipe 16 dua kasus dan 12 tipe
HR lainnya hanya satu kasus. Besaran Nilai Ct berkisar antara 29,53–33,05 dan
kasus HPV Tipe 18 tidak ditemukan. Kesimpulan: 100% responden pemeriksaan
IVA tidak terdeteksi HPV. Sedangkan RT-qPCR mendeteksi DNA HPV pada 3
responden dengan tipe 16 (3,1%) dan 12 tipe hr- lainnya (1,6%).
Background: Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death
among women, especially in developing countries. Early detection is essential in
prevention efforts. Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) and Human
Papillomavirus (HPV) DNA testing using Real-Time Quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR)
are two methods used to detect the risk of cervical cancer. However, PCR-based
examinations have not yet been widely implemented as a diagnostic standard.
Research Objective: This study aims to analyze VIA and RT-qPCR results of HPV
DNA types 16, 18, and 12 other high-risk types as early indicators of cervical
cancer. Research Method: This study is an analytical observational research using
accidental sampling technique. The sample consisted of 64 patients. VIA and RT-
qPCR HPV DNA examinations were conducted. Research Results: The proportion
of HPV DNA-positive detection was 4.7%. Based on HPV type category, two cases
were type 16, and one case was among the 12 other high-risk types. The Ct value
ranged from 29.53 to 33.05, and no HPV type 18 was found. Conclusions: 100%
of respondents showed no HPV detection through VIA examination. Meanwhile,
RT-qPCR detected HPV DNA in 3 respondents, with type 16 (3.1%) and 12 other
high-risk types (1.6%).
