Abstract
Latar Belakang: Keakuratan hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium sangat penting
dalam mendukung diagnosis dan terapi pasien. Salah satu upaya untuk
meningkatkan mutu hasil pemeriksaan adalah dengan melakukan pementapan
mutu internal menggunakan bahan kontrol (pooled sera) yang lebih ekonomis
dibandingkan bahan kontrol komersial, khususnya pada pemeriksaan trigliserida
yang penting dalam deteksi risiko penyakit kardiovaskular. Tujuan Penelitian:
Untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan pooled sera sebagai bahan kontrol alternatif
pemantapan mutu internal pemeriksaan trigliserida. Metode penelitian:
Penelitian ini bersifat true eksperimen dengan rancangan Posttest only group
design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sisa serum yang memiliki kadar
trigliserida normal dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan dilakukan
setiap hari selama 20 hari kerja di instalasi Patologi Klinik, BBLKM Palembang.
Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan alat Automatic Biochemistery Analyzer
Kenza 450 TX. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil Penelitian:
Pooled sera menunjukkan hasil bias (d%) sebesar 0,00% (nilai target 114,76
mg/dL = rata-rata), recovery (R%) 100%, dan koefisien variasi (CV) 5,6%.
Sedangkan bahan kontrol komersial menunjukkan hasil bias (d%) sebesar -0,03%
(nilai target 78,83 mg/dL), recovery (R%) 97,44%, dan koefisien variasi (CV)
5,8%. Uji Mann-Whitney U menunjukkan nilai signifikasi p<0,05, yang berarti
terdapat perbedaan antara pooled sera dan bahan kontrol komersial dalam
pemantapan mutu internal pemeriksaan trigliserida. Kesimpulan: pooled sera
dapat digunakan sebagai bahan kontrol alternatif pada pemantapan mutu internal
pemeriksaan trigliserida karena memenuhi presisi dan akurasi.
Background: The accuracy of laboratory test results is very imprortant in
supporting patient diagnosis and therapy. One effort to improve the quality of test
results is through internal quality control using pooled sera, which is more
economical than commercial control materiels, especially in triglyceride testing
which is important in detecting the risk of cardiovascular disease. Research
Objective: To determine the utilization of pooled sera as an aternative control
meteriaal for internal quality assurance of triglyceride testing. Research Method:
The research is a true experiment with posttest-only group desain. Residual sera
samples with normal triglyceride levels were selected using purposive sampling.
Testing was carried out daily over 20 working days at the clinical pathology
Installation, BBLKM Palembang, using the Kenza 450 TX Automatic
Biochemistery Analyzer. Data analyzsis used the Mann-Whitney test. Results:
Pooled sera showed a bias (d%) of 0,00% (target value 114,76 mg/dL = mean),
recovery (R%) of 100%, and coefficient of variation (CV) of 5,6%. Meanwhile, the
commercial control material showed a bias (d%) of -0,03% (target value 78,83
mg/dL), recovery (R%) of 97,44%, and coefficient of variation (CV) of 5,8%. The
Mann-Whitney U test indicated a significant difference (p<0,05) between the
pooled sera and the commercial control materials in internal quality of
triglyceride testing. Conclusion: Pooled sera can be used as an alternative
control material for internal quality control in triglyceride testing, as it meets the
requirements for both precision and accuracy.
