ANALISIS NEUTROPHIL LYMPHOCYTE RATIO (NLR) PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS DI PUSKESMAS DEMPO KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2025

Latar Belakang : Diabetes Melitus (DM) adalah penyakit metabolik kronis yang ditandai
dengan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah akibat gangguan sekresi atau kerja insulin.
Hiperglikemia kronis dapat memicu proses inflamasi sistemik yang berperan dalam
perkembangan komplikasi DM. Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) merupakan salah
satu indikator inflamasi sistemik yang mudah diperoleh dari pemeriksaan darah rutin.
Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dengan
Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) pada pasien Diabetes Melitus di Puskesmas Dempo
Kota Palembang tahun 2025. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian studi analitik dengan
pendekatan cross sectional, menggunakan teknik total sampling dan data primer dengan
jumlah 40 pasien Diabetes Melitus yang datang ke Puskesmas Dempo Palembang tahun
2025. Hasil Penelitian : Berdasarkan distribusi frekuensi nilai Neutrophil Lymphocyte
Ratio (NLR) 1 berjumlah 21 (27,5%) nilai 2 berjumlah 21 (52,5) nilai 3 berjumlah 6
(15,0%) nilai 4 dan 5 masing-masing berjumlah 1 (2,5%). Berdasarkan analisis data Uji
Beda didapatkan tidak ada pengaruh antara riwayat komplikasi (P=0,449), lama menderita
(P=0,328), riwayat merokok (P= 0,153) dengan nilai Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR).
Kesimpulan : Tidak ada pengaruh riwayat komplikasi, lama menderita dan riwayat
merokok dengan Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) pada pasien Diabetes Melitus di
Puskesmas Dempo Kota Palembang tahun 2025.

Background : Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by
increased blood glucose levels due to impaired insulin secretion or work. Chronic
hyperglycemia can trigger systemic inflammatory processes that play a role in the
development of DM complications. Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) is one of the
indicators of systemic inflammation that is easily obtained from routine blood tests.
Research Objective : To determine the factors that affect the Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio
(NLR) in Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Dempo Health Center, Palembang City in 2025.
Research Method : A type of analytical study with a cross sectional approach, using total
sampling techniques and primary data with a total of 40 Diabetes Mellitus patients who
will come to the Dempo Palembang Health Center in 2025. Research Results : Based on
the frequency distribution, the Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) 1 value amounted to
21 (27.5%), value 2 amounted to 21 (52.5), value 3 amounted to 6 (15.0%), value 4 and 5
amounted to 1 (2.5%) respectively. Based on the analysis of the Difference Test data, it
was found that there was no influence between the history of complications (P=0.449), the
length of suffering (P=0.328), the history of smoking (P= 0.153) and the Neutrophil
Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR). Conclusion : There was no effect of complication history, long
suffering and smoking history with Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) in Diabetes
Mellitus patients at the Dempo Health Center, Palembang City in 2025.
