Latar Belakang: Kanker serviks ialah kanker ganas yang berbahaya bagi wanita serta dapat menyebabkan kematian. Pendidikan kesehatan merupakan salah satu taktik untuk tingkatkan kesadaran serta dorongan wanita usia subur untuk menjalani pemeriksaan IVA. Video efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan wanita usia subur untuk tentang inspeksi visual asam asetat. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui perubahan tingkat pengetahuan wanita usia subur tentang inspeksi visual asam asetat sebelum dan setelah diberikan video edukasi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Trimoharjo. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh WUS berusia 15-49 tahun di Puskesmas Trimoharjo OKU Timur yang berjumlah 285 orang. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistic Wilcoxon Rank Test. Hasil Penelitian: analisa univariat diperoleh pengetahuan WUS sebelum diberikan intervensi video edukasi tentang inspeksi visual asam asetat dalam kategori kurang (69,1%) dan pengetahuan WUS setelah diberikan intervensi video edukasi tentang inspeksi visual asam asetat dalam kategori kurang (70,9%). Analisa bivariat diperoleh ada perubahan tingkat pengetahuan wanita usia subur tentang inspeksi visual asam asetat sebelum dan setelah diberikan video edukasi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Trimoharjo (p=0,000). Kesimpulan: Ada perubahan tingkat pengetahuan wanita usia subur tentang inspeksi visual asam asetat sebelum dan setelah diberikan video edukasi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Trimoharjo. Sehingga diharapkan video edukasi tentang IVA bisa dijadikan salah satu media dalam promosi kesehatan untuk membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam melakukan pemeriksaan IVA

Background: Cervical cancer is a malignant cancer that is dangerous for women and can cause death. Health education is one of the tactics to increase awareness and encouragement of women of childbearing age to undergo IVA examinations. The video effectively increases the knowledge of women of childbearing age to about visual inspection of acetic acid. Research Objective: To determine changes in the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about visual inspection of acetic acid before and after being given an educational video in the Trimoharjo Health Center Working Area. Research Method: This study used one group pretest-posttest design. The research population was all WUS aged 15-49 years at the East OKU Trimoharjo Health Center which amounted to 285 people. The sample of this study amounted to 55 people taken using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Rank Test statistical test.Research Results: univariate analysis obtained WUS knowledge before being given an educational video intervention on visual inspection of acetic acid in the low category (69.1%) and WUS knowledge after being given an educational video intervention on visual inspection of acetic acid in the low category (70.9%). Bivariate analysis found that there was a change in the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about visual inspection of acetic acid before and after being given an educational video in the Trimoharjo Health Center Working Area (p=0.000). Conclusion: There was a change in the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about visual inspection of acetic acid before and after being given an educational video in the Working Area of the Trimoharjo Health Center. So it is hoped that educational videos about IVA can be used as one of the media in health promotion to help increase public knowledge in conducting IVA examinations
