Background: Hypertension remains a significant global health concern and is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. It is defined by a systolic blood pressure of ≥140 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of ≥90 mmHg. This study aimed to evaluate the application of Slow Stroke Back Massage and hydrotherapy as non-pharmacological interventions for reducing hypertension-related pain. Methods: This study employed a descriptive case study design using a nursing care process approach. The sample consisted of three elderly participants. Interventions were administered over seven consecutive days, and pain intensity was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: The findings indicated that the combined intervention of Slow Stroke Back Massage and hydrotherapy over seven days resulted in a reduction in pain intensity: from a score of 6 to 2 in participant 1, from 5 to 2 in participant 2, and from 6 to 2 in participant 3. Conclusion: Slow Stroke Back Massage and hydrotherapy may serve as effective non-pharmacological interventions in reducing hypertension-related pain.
