Abstract
Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan kelompok penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia yang terjadi karena gangguan sekresi insulin dan atau kerja insulin. Penatalaksanaan non farmakologis penderita DM adalah melalui pemberian makanan dengan kandungan rendah kalori, rendah indeks glikemik serta tinggi serat. Gudeina bar berbahan dasar ubi ungu, kedelai dan buah naga merupakan alternatif makanan selingan dengan karbohidrat kompleks dan serat yang tinggi, yang diberikan sebanyak 39 – 59 gram selama tiga hari. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian gudeina bar terhadap kadar glukosa darah pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan one group pre-test and post-test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2025. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 orang pasien rawat jalan penderita DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil Penelitian: Rata-rata kadar glukosa darah sebelum intervensi sebesar 291,80 mg/dL dan sesudah intervensi sebesar 257,37 mg/dL, dengan penurunan kadar glukosa darah sebesar 41,43 mg/dL. Hasil uji statistik paired t-test menunjukkan nilai p-value 0,001 (<0,05). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian gudeina bar (ubi ungu, kedelai dan buah naga) terhadap kadar glukosa darah penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang.
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to impaired insulin secretion and or insulin action. Non-pharmacological management of DM patients is through the provision of foods with low calorie content, low glycemic index and high fiber. Gudeina bar made from purple sweet potato, soybean and dragon fruit is an alternative snack with complex carbohydrates and high fiber, provided in amounts of 39 – 59 grams over three days. Purpose: to determine the effect of giving Gudeina bar (purple sweet potato, soybean and dragon fruit) on blood glucose levels of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Padang Selasa Public Health Center Palembang. Methods: The type of this research used was quasi experiment with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research was conducted in January 2025. This study sample consisted of 30 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Padang Selasa Public Health Center Palembang. Samples were selected using purposive sampling technique. Result: The average blood glucose levels before the intervention was 291.80 mg/dL and after the intervention was
257.37 mg/dL, with a decrease in blood glucose levels of 41.43 mg/dL. The result of the paired t-test statistical test showed a p-value 0f 0.001 (<0.05). Conclusion: There was an effect of giving Gudeina bar (purple sweet potato, soybean and dragon fruit) on blood glucose levels of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Padang Selasa Public Health Center Palembang.
