HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI DAN MOTIVASI IBU TERHADAP
KEBERHASILAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI WILAYAH KERJA
UPTD PUSKESMAS PURWODADI TAHUN 2026

Latar Belakang: Pemberian ASI eksklusif selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan
bayi baru lahir mengurangi risiko penyakit menular pada bayi, melindungi
mereka dari penyakit kronis di masa dewasa, meningkatkan skor kecerdasan dan
dapat menurunkan angka kematian dan morbiditas pada bayi. Tujuan Penelitian:
Untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan suami dan motivasi ibu terhadap
keberhasilan ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Purwodadi
Tahun 2026. Metode Penelitian: penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian
kuantitatif dengan desain penelitiaan Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian ini
adalah 1226 orang semua ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 7-12 bulan. Sampel pada
penelitian ini berjumlah 89 diambil dengan tekhnik multistis random
sampling.Analisa data menggunakan uji statistic Chi Square. Hasil Penelitian:
Dari 89 ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 7-12 bulan sebanyak 46 ibu (51,7%) tidak
mendapatkan dukungan dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Dari 89 ibu yang
memiliki bayi usia 7-12 bulan sebanyak 51 ibu (57,3%) ibu mempunyai motivasi
rendah memberikan ASI eksklusif. Dari 89 ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 7-12
bulan sebanyak 48 ibu (53,9%) ibu tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif kepada
anaknya. Ada hubungan dukungan suami dengan keberhasilan ASI eksklusif di
Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Purwodadi Tahun 2026.Ada hubungan
motivasi ibu dengan keberhasilan ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja UPTD
Puskesmas Purwodadi Tahun 2026. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan dukungan suami
dan motivasi ibu terhadap keberhasilan ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja UPTD
Puskesmas Purwodadi Tahun 2026.

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of a newborn's
life reduces the risk of infectious diseases in infants, protects them from chronic
diseases in adulthood, improves intelligence scores and can lower infant
mortality and morbidity. Research Objective: To determine the relationship
between husband support and maternal motivation to the success of exclusive
breastfeeding in the UPTD Purwodadi Health Center Working Area in 2026.
Research Method: the study uses a quantitative research type with a Cross
Sectional research design. The population of this study was 1226 people, all
mothers who had babies aged 7-12 months. The sample in this study totaled 89
taken using the multisis random sampling technique.Data analysis using the Chi
Square statistical test.Study Results: Of the 89 mothers who had babies aged 7-
12 months, 46 mothers (51.7%) did not receive support in exclusive
breastfeeding. Of the 89 mothers who had babies aged 7-12 months, 51 mothers
(57.3%) had low motivation to give exclusive breastfeeding. Of the 89 mothers
who had babies aged 7-12 months, 48 mothers (53.9%) did not give exclusive
breastfeeding to their children. There is a relationship between husband support
and the success of exclusive breastfeeding in the UPTD Purwodadi Health Center
Work Area in 2026.There is a relationship between maternal motivation and the
success of exclusive breastfeeding in the UPTD Purwodadi Health Center Work
Area in 2026. Conclusion: There is a relationship between husband support and
maternal motivation for the success of exclusive breastfeeding in the 2026
Purwodadi Health Center UPTD Work Area.
