Abstract
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Kecamatan jarai Kabupaten Lahat memiliki keanekaragaman tumbuhan dan tanaman berkhasiat obat yang masih dimanfaatkan masyarakat sebagai pengobatan tradisional secara turun-temurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemanfaatan tumbuhan dan tanaman berkhasiat obat serta menganalisis nilai Use Value (UV) dan Informant Consensus Factor (ICF).
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan gabungan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mixed methods) dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel terdiri atas 17 informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan pedoman wawancara semi terstruktur, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan nilai UV dan ICF.
Hasil: Penelitian ini memperoleh 69 jenis tumbuhan dan tanaman berkhasiat obat. Bagian yang paling banyak digunakan adalah daun, dengan cara pengolahan terbanyak direbus, cara penggunaan terbanyak diminum, dan cara memperoleh terbanyak dibudidayakan. Khasiat yang paling banyak dilaporkan adalah untuk hipertensi, asam urat, dan Diabetes. Hasil analisis UV menunjukkan bahwa jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) dan kejibeling (Strobilanthes crispa (L.) Blume) memiliki nilai tertinggi (0,412). Analisis ICF menghasilkan 26 kategori penyakit dengan nilai tertinggi pada batu ginjal (0,83), sariawan (0,80), dan Susah tidur (0,75).
Kesimpulan: Masyarakat Kecamatan Jarai masih memanfaatkan tumbuhan dan tanaman berkhasiat obat sebagai pengobatan tradisional berdasarkan pengalaman dan pengetahuan secara turun-temurun. Analisis UV menunjukkan adanya tumbuhan dan tanaman yang memiliki tingkat kepentingan tinggi dan analisis ICF menunjukkan adanya kategori penyakit yang memiliki tingkat kesepakatan tinggi sehingga keduanya berpotensi untuk dikembangkan melalui penelitian lebih lanjut.

ABSTRACT
Background : Jarai Subdistrict, Lahat Regency, is home to a diverse array of medicinal plants that the local community has traditionally used for generations as part of traditional medicine. This study aims to identify the uses og thes medicinal plants and to analyze their Use Value (UV) and Informant Consensus Factor (ICF).
Methods: This study employed a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of 17 informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via face-to-face interview with a semi-structured interview guide, analyzed descriptively, and subsequently used to calculate UV and ICF values.
Results: This study identified 69 species of medicinal plants. The most commonly used plant part was leaves; the most common processing method was boiling; the most common method of use was ingestion; and the most common method of acquisition was cultivation. The most frequently reported medicinal uses were for hypertension, gout, and Diabetes. UV analysis values showed that Jatropha curcas L. and Strobilanthes crispa (L.) Blume had the highest values (0.412). ICF analysis yielded 26 disease categories, with the highest values for kidney stones (0.83), canker sores (0.80), and insomnia (0.75).
Conclusion: The local community of Jarai Subdistrict still use medicinal plants for traditional treatment based on experience and knowledge passed down through generations. The UV analysis revealed the presence of plants with a high level of importance, and the ICF analysis identified disease categories with a high level of agreement; therefore, both have the potential to be further developed through additional research.
