Terapi Aktivitas Mandala Coloring Pada Klien Skizofrenia Dengan Halusinasi Pendengaran Di Yayasan Mitra Mulia Husada Provinsi Sumatera Selatan Tahun 2026

Latar belakang: Halusinasi merupakan suatu gejala gangguan jiwa di mana klien merasakan stimulus yang sebenarnya tidak ada dan mengalami perubahan persepsi sensori berupa suara, penglihatan, pengecapan, perabaan, maupun penciuman. Halusinasi pendengaran merupakan jenis halusinasi yang paling sering dialami oleh klien skizofrenia dan dapat menyebabkan klien kehilangan kontrol diri, menarik diri dari lingkungan, serta berisiko melakukan perilaku maladaptif. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran yaitu terapi aktivitas mandala coloring, yaitu kegiatan mewarnai pola tertentu yang dapat membantu klien lebih rileks, fokus, dan mengalihkan perhatian dari halusinasi. Tujuan: Untuk menerapkan dan melaksanakan implementasi keperawatan terapi aktivitas mandala coloring pada klien halusinasi pendengaran di Yayasan Mitra Mulia Husada Provinsi Sumatera Selatan tahun 2026. Metode: Metode dalam studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, di mana peneliti mendeskripsikan implementasi terapi aktivitas mandala coloring pada klien dengan gangguan persepsi sensori: halusinasi pendengaran. Hasil: Hasil evaluasi pada keempat klien menunjukkan bahwa terapi aktivitas mandala coloring dapat membantu menurunkan frekuensi dan intensitas halusinasi, meningkatkan konsentrasi, membantu klien lebih tenang, serta meningkatkan kemampuan klien dalam mengontrol halusinasi yang dialami. Berdasarkan evaluasi menggunakan skala Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS), hasil pre-evaluasi menunjukkan Tn. P memperoleh skor 23, Tn. S skor 27, Tn. A skor 23, dan Tn. L skor 21 dengan kategori halusinasi berat. Setelah dilakukan terapi aktivitas mandala coloring, hasil post evaluasi menunjukkan penurunan skor menjadi 13 pada Tn. P, Tn. S, Tn. L, dan pada Tn. A skor 14 dengan kategori halusinasi sedang. Klien tampak lebih tenang, fokus, kooperatif, dan mampu mengontrol halusinasi. Kesimpulan: Terapi aktivitas mandala coloring dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu terapi nonfarmakologis dalam membantu klien skizofrenia mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran. Terapi ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan klien dalam mengurangi gejala halusinasi dan meningkatkan ketenangan selama proses perawatan.

Background: Hallucination is a symptom of a mental disorder in which individuals perceive stimuli that do not actually exist and experience changes in sensory perception, such as changes in hearing, vision, taste, touch, and smell. Auditory hallucination is the most common type experienced by schizophrenic patients and may cause patients to lose self-control, withdraw from the environment, and be at risk of maladaptive behavior. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be used to help control auditory hallucinations is mandala coloring activity therapy, which is an activity of coloring certain patterns that can help patients become more relaxed, focused, and distracted from hallucinations. Objective: To implement nursing care through mandala coloring activity therapy in patients with auditory hallucinations at Yayasan Mitra Mulia Husada, South Sumatra Province, in 2026. Method: This study employed a descriptive case study method, in which the researcher described the implementation of mandala coloring activity therapy in patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations. Result: The evaluation results in all four clients showed that mandala coloring activity therapy helped reduce the frequency and intensity of hallucinations, improve concentration, help clients become calmer, and enhance their ability to control the hallucinations experienced. Based on the evaluation using the Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS), the pre-evaluation results showed that Mr. P scored 23, Mr. S scored 27, Mr. A scored 23, and Mr. L scored 21, categorized as severe hallucinations. After the implementation of the mandala coloring activity therapy, the post-evaluation results showed a decrease in scores to 13 for Mr. P, Mr. S, and Mr. L, while Mr. A scored 14, categorized as moderate hallucinations. The clients appeared calmer, more focused, cooperative, and able to control their hallucinations. Conclusion: Mandala coloring activity therapy can be used as one of the non-pharmacological therapies to help schizophrenic patients control auditory hallucinations. This therapy provides positive effects on the patients’ ability to reduce hallucination symptoms and improve calmness during the treatment process.
