ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Disfungsi seksual pada perempuan merupakan kondisi ketika seorang wanita tidak mampu merasakan gairah, ketertarikan, pelumasan, maupun mencapai orgasme selama berhubungan seksual. Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) di Indonesia dilaksanakan tidak hanya untuk pengendalian kelahiran, tetapi juga melalui konseling kontrasepsi yang menyeluruh, edukasi tentang pilihan alat kontrasepsi, serta informasi tentang efek samping dan cara mengatasinya oleh tenaga kesehatan. Salah satu penyebab yang berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya disfungsi seksual yaitu penggunaan kontrasepsi berbasis hormon. khususnya Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA). Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara pemakaian kontrasepsi Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate dengan terjadinya disfungsi seksual. Metode penelitian: yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain case control. Sampel dipilih secara accidental sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner FSFI (Female Sexual Function Index). Total sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 responden, dengan pembagian 40 responden untuk kelompok kasus dan 40 responden untuk kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis univariat, bivariat, dan uji Chi Square. Hasil Penelitian: Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara penggunaan alat kontrasepsi DMPA dengan kejadian disfungsi seksual pada wanita usia subur. Statistik ditunjukkan dengan nilai p-value = 0,000 (p < 0,05), nilai Odds Ratio (OR) sebesar 33,000 dengan CI 95% 9,528–114,294. Kesimpulan: Di Puskesmas Air Itam, Kabupaten Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir tahun 2026, ditemukan adanya keterkaitan signifikan antara pemakaian kontrasepsi DMPA dengan disfungsi seksual.

ABSTRACT
Background: Sexual dysfunction in women is the failure of women to achieve sexual desire, interest, orgasm, and lubrication during sexual intercourse. The Family Planning (KB) program in Indonesia is implemented not only for birth control but also through comprehensive contraceptive counseling, education about contraceptive options, and information about side effects and how to overcome them by health workers. One of the factors that influence the occurrence of sexual dysfunction is the use of hormonal contraceptives, especially Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA). Purpose: To determine the relationship between the use of Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate contraceptives and sexual dysfunction. Method: This type of research is a quantitative study using a case-control approach with an accidental sampling technique. Sampling in this study used the FSFI (Female Sexual Function Index) questionnaire, the population and sample in this study amounted to 40 respondents per group with a ratio of 1: 1 so that the total sample was 80 respondents. Univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi Square statistical tests. Results: There is a significant relationship between the use of DMPA contraceptives and the incidence of sexual dysfunction in women of childbearing age. The statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), with an Odds Ratio (OR) of 33.000, with a 95% CI of 9.528–114.294. Conclusion: There is a significant association between the use of DMPA contraception and the incidence of sexual dysfunction at the Air Itam Community Health Center, Panukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency in 2026.
