GAMBARAN KENAIKAN BERAT BADAN PADA AKSEPTOR KB DEPO MEDROXY PROGESTERONE ACETATE DI TPMB SUMARNI KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU TAHUN 2025

Latar Belakang : Mengenai KB suntik 3 bulan, dimana masih sering terjadi perubahan menstruasi dan peningkatan berat badan, masih kurangnya kepatuhan dan pengetahuan akseptor KB mengenai KB suntik 3 bulan, masih adanya akseptor melakukan penghentian suntikan yang mengakibatkan masalah kembalinya kesuburan. Kemudian kenaikan berat badan, masih adanya keluhan akseptor mengenai berat badan, gangguan prevelensi dan karakteristik yang dialami akseptor (seperti stress, status gizi dan aktifitas fisik, serta faktor hormon). Selanjutnya Akseptor KB, masih adanya keluhan akseptor mengenai kenaikan berat badan, kurangnya pemahaman akseptor dalam penggunaan KB suntik 3 bulan. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui gambaran kenaikan berat badan pada akseptor KB Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate di TPMB Sumarni Kota Lubuklinggau. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode deskriftif kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah akseptor KB yang diambil setahun terakhir sebanyak 1.578 akseptor KB (data terlampir). Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat melalui distribusi frekuensi. Hasil Penelitian : Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kenaikan berat badan dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, baik faktor internal seperti usia, hereditas, psikologis, dan hormon. Serta faktor eksternal seperti makanan dan aktivitas fisik. Dalam hal ini sulit untuk menentukan faktor yang lebih menonjol sebagai akibat kenaikan berat badan yang terjadi pada akseptor KB Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate di TPMB Sumarni Kota Lubuklinggau. Kesimpulan : Dalam penelitian ini rata-rata kenaikan berat badan ibu akseptor KB Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate di TPMB Sumarni Kota Lubuklinggau tiap minggunya adalah 0,63 Kg.

Background: Regarding the 3-month injectable contraceptive, where menstrual changes and weight gain are still common, there is still a lack of compliance and knowledge of KB acceptors regarding the 3-month injectable contraceptive, there are still acceptors who stop the injection which results in problems with the return of fertility. Then weight gain, there are still complaints from acceptors regarding weight, prevalence and characteristics of disorders experienced by acceptors (such as stress, nutritional status and physical activity, and hormonal factors). Furthermore, KB Acceptors, there are still complaints from acceptors regarding weight gain, lack of understanding of acceptors in the use of 3-month injectable contraceptives. Research Objective: To determine the description of weight gain in KB acceptors Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate at TPMB Sumarni, Lubuklinggau City. Research Method: This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study is KB acceptors taken in the past year as many as 1,578 KB acceptors (attached data). Data analysis uses univariate analysis through frequency distribution. Research Results: The results of this study concluded that weight gain can be caused by several factors, including internal factors such as age, heredity, psychological factors, and hormones, as well as external factors such as diet and physical activity. It is difficult to determine which factor is more prominent as a cause of weight gain among Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate contraceptive users at the Sumarni TPMB in Lubuklinggau City. Conclusion: In this study, the average weekly weight gain among mothers using Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate contraceptive users at the Sumarni TPMB in Lubuklinggau City was 0.63 kg.
