HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN, PENGETAHUAN DAN PERSEPSI DENGAN PARTISIPASI DETEKSI DINI KANKER SERVIKS MELALUI METODE IVA TEST DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS PENGARINGAN TAHUN 2026

Latar Belakang: Pemeriksaan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA) adalah salah satu metode deteksi dini kanker serviks. Skrining IVA di Indonesia pada tahun 2020-2022 mencapai 3.914.885 orang atau sekitar 9,3% Tujuan: untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan dan persepsi dengan partisipasi deteksi dini kanker serviks melalui metode IVA Test di Wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Pengaringan. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi : Wanita Usia Subur di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Pengaringan. Sampel : Jumlah sampel 100 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner, analisis data yang digunakan Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden dengan tingkat pendidikan sedang yaitu sebanyak 53 responden (53%), responden dengan pengetahuan baik sebanyak 26 responden (26%), sedangkan responden dengan persepsi negatif sebanyak 61 responden (61%), Sebagian besar responden belum berpartisipasi dalam deteksi dini kanker serviks yaitu sebanyak 74 responden (74%). Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan (p-value = 0,000) pengetahuan (p-value = 0,000) dan persepsi ( p-value = 0,000) .
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan dan persepsi dengan partisipasi deteksi dini kanker serviks melalui metode IVA Test di UPTD Puskesmas Pengaringan tahun 2026.

Background: Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is one of the methods used for the early detection of cervical cancer. The coverage of VIA screening in Indonesia during 2020–2022 reached 3,914,885 women, or approximately 9.3%.Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between education level, knowledge, and perception with participation in early detection of cervical cancer through the VIA test method in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Pengaringan. Methods: This study employed a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of women of reproductive age in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Pengaringan. A total of 100 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources using questionnaires as the research instrument. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test.
Results: The findings showed that most respondents had a moderate level of education, totaling 53 respondents (53%). Respondents with good knowledge accounted for 26 respondents (26%), while those with negative perceptions accounted for 61 respondents (61%). The majority of respondents had not participated in early cervical cancer detection, totaling 74 respondents (74%). The Chi-Square test results indicated significant relationships between educational level (p-value = 0.000), knowledge (p-value = 0.000), and perception (p-value = 0.000) and participation in early cervical cancer detection.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between educational level, knowledge, and perceptions and participation in early cervical cancer detection through the VIA test method at the UPTD Pengaringan Community Health Center in 2026.
