ABSTRAK
Latar belakang: Pemberian ASI eksklusif telah ditetapkan sebagai salah satu indikator utama dalam program kesehatan ibu dan anak di Indonesia. Cakupan bayi yang menerima ASI eksklusif belum memenuhi target ideal program kesehatan ibu dan anak. Tantangan dalam implementasi praktik ASI eksklusif berkaitan dengan perbedaan kualitas edukasi, dukungan keluarga, kondisi sosial budaya, serta efektivitas konseling yang diterima oleh ibu menyusui. Konseling laktasi menggunakan media flipchart menjadai salah satu strategi yang dinilai lebih adaptif terhadap karakteristik pembelajaran orang dewasa dibandingkan media konvensional. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling laktasi dengan media digital flipchart terhadap penguatan keputusan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Muara Saling Tahun 2026. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest. Sampel sebanyak 78 responden. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian: Hasil analisis Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan adanya pengaruh konseling laktasi dengan metode digital flipchart terhadap penguatan keputusan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value <0,0001). Kesimpulan: Penggunaan media digital flipchart dalam konseling laktasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap penguatan keputusan ibu dalam memberikan ASI ekslusif untuk anaknya. Media digital flipchart memudahkan ibu dalam mendapatkan dan menyerap informasi terkait pentingnya pemberian ASI Ekslusif.

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding has been established as one of the key indicators in maternal and child health programs in Indonesia. However, the coverage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding has not yet reached the ideal target set by the maternal and child health program. Challenges in implementing exclusive breastfeeding practices are related to variations in the quality of education, family support, socio-cultural conditions, and the effectiveness of counseling received by breastfeeding mothers. Lactation counseling using flipchart media is considered a strategy that is more adaptive to adult learning characteristics compared to conventional media. Objective: To determine the effect of lactation counseling using digital flipchart media on strengthening the decision to provide exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of Muara Saling Community Health Center in 2026. Method: This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. A total of 78 respondents were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test indicated that lactation counseling using digital flipchart media had a significant effect on strengthening the decision to provide exclusive breastfeeding (p-value < 0.0001). Conclusion: The use of digital flipchart media in lactation counseling significantly influences mothers’ decisions to provide exclusive breastfeeding for their children. Digital flipchart media facilitate mothers in obtaining and understanding information regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.
