Abstract
Background: Breast milk (ASI) is the best source of nutrition for infants from birth until the age of 6 months because it contains complete nutrients that play an important role in growth, development, and improving the baby’s immune system. Inadequate breast milk production is one of the factors causing the failure of exclusive breastfeeding. Hypnobreastfeeding is a relaxation technique by providing positive affirmations to breastfeeding mothers so they feel calm, comfortable, and relaxed, which can stimulate optimal breast milk production and release. Lack of breast milk production in postpartum mothers can cause the baby’s nutritional needs to be unmet optimally, thereby affecting the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Based on several studies, Hypnobreastfeeding has been proven effective in helping smooth breast milk production in postpartum mothers. This study aimed to determine the effect of Hypnobreastfeeding techniques on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Working Area of UPTD Puskesmas Rasuan OKU Timur in 2026. Objective: To determine the effect of Hypnobreastfeeding techniques on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Working Area of UPTD Puskesmas Rasuan OKU Timur in 2026.
