GAMBARAN JUMLAH TROMBOSIT PADA PENDERITA TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI KECAMATAN KEMUNING KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2026

Latar Belakang: Tuberkulosis (TB) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global. Infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis dapat memengaruhi parameter hematologi, termasuk jumlah trombosit sebagai respons inflamasi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan jumlah trombosit pada penderita tuberkulosis paru di Kecamatan Kemuning Kota Palembang tahun 2026 berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin, indeks massa tubuh, lama pengobatan, komorbiditas, dan penghasilan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan sampel 44 penderita TB paru menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pemeriksaan trombosit dilakukan menggunakan Automatic Hematology Analyzer Sysmex XP-100 dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil: Rata-rata jumlah trombosit 327,00 ×10³/µL. Berdasarkan karakteristik, rerata trombosit pada usia ≥ 50 tahun 314,20 ×10³/µL dan < 50 tahun 354,43 ×10³/µL, pada laki-laki 315,85 ×10³/µL dan perempuan 344,71 ×10³/µL, pada IMT underweight 330,78 ×10³/µL, normal 331,65 ×10³/µL, dan overweight 285,50 ×10³/µL, pada lama pengobatan ≤ 2 bulan 374,21 ×10³/µL dan > 2 bulan 304,97 ×10³/µL, pada komorbid 361,11 ×10³/µL dan tanpa komorbid sebesar 318,23 ×10³/µL, serta pada penghasilan ≤ UMK 317,03 ×10³/µL dan > UMK 317,88 ×10³/µL. Kesimpulan: Rata-rata jumlah trombosit penderita tuberkulosis paru adalah 327,00 ×10³/µL masih dalam batas normal, namun terdapat perbedaan menurut kondisi responden. Variasi nilai trombosit terlihat pada kelompok usia <50 tahun, perempuan, lama pengobatan ≤2 bulan, dan adanya komorbid, yang menunjukkan adanya respons inflamasi, sedangkan penghasilan tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang berarti. tolong bahasa inggriskan

Objective: This study aimed to describe platelet counts in pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Kemuning District, Palembang City, in 2026 based on age, sex, body mass index, duration of treatment, comorbidities, and income. Methods: This study was a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional approach involving 44 pulmonary TB patients selected using total sampling technique. Platelet examination was performed using an Automatic Hematology Analyzer Sysmex XP-100 and analyzed descriptively. Results: The mean platelet count 327.00 ×10³/µL. Based on characteristics, the mean platelet count in patients aged ≥ 50 years 318.04 ×10³/µL and < 50 years 336.81 ×10³/µL; in males it 315.85 ×10³/µL and in females 344.71 ×10³/µL; based on body mass index, underweigh 330.78 ×10³/µL, normal 331.65 ×10³/µL, and overweight 285.50 ×10³/µL; based on duration of treatment, ≤ 2 months 374.21 ×10³/µL and > 2 months 304.97 ×10³/µL; based on comorbidities, with comorbiditie 361.11 ×10³/µL and without comorbidities 318.23 ×10³/µL; and based on income, ≤ minimum wage was 317.03 ×10³/µL and > minimum wage 317.88 ×10³/µL. Conclusion: The mean platelet count in pulmonary tuberculosis patients was 327.00 ×10³/µL which is still within the normal range; however, there were differences according to respondent conditions. Variations in platelet values were observed in the <50 years age group, females, patients with treatment duration ≤2 months, and those with comorbidities, indicating an inflammatory response, while income did not show a significant difference.
